TechTown Neighbor NextEnergy Nets Big Win for Detroit

0 Comments 01 September 2010

TNextEnergyechTown proudly salutes  NextEnergy for its designation as Michigan’s first, and only, charging electric vehicle charging station. The non-profit is poised to announce a full plan Thursday but a sneak peak of the news, and the potential it holds for the state and the 12-block TechTown corridor,  is available  over at Xconomy Detroit.  It’s big news for Detroit too, as one of only a handful of  regions  to be designated ChargePoint America charging stations, according to Xconomy’s Detroit correspondent, Howard Lovy. The others include:  San Jose/San Francisco Bay Area, Orlando, Fl., Austin,  Washington, D.C., New York and Bellevue/Redmond, WA.
