2 Comments 07 April 2011

Michigan’s business climate has gone through dramatic changes in the past decade. As old business paradigms shift, they create both challenges and opportunities. Experienced professionals have talents and abilities that offer big benefits to businesses and organizations that are positioned to grow in the new economy.

Shifting Gears was created to support talented professionals who want to transition into exciting future job opportunities.

Shifting Gears is an intensive training and development program for seasoned professionals who want to make career transitions that allow them to contribute to success by leveraging their business knowledge and experience.

The goal of Shifting Gears is to increase the success of individuals who want to leverage their career experiences and education to help small businesses grow. The program seeks highly skilled and talented professionals who want to increase their effectiveness and capabilities for the dynamic environment of small business.

This four-month program’s results are impressive: Thirty-five percent of participants land new jobs within three months. Fifty-five percent land positions within six months, and a whopping 80 percent find work within nine or more months.

If you’re interested in applying for Shifting Gears, please sign up for one of the free information sessions by clicking on the link:

While the information session is free, the Shifting Gears program does have a cost. Please note that to apply for the Shifting Gears program, you must attend an information session.
