Alternative Energy

An energy crisis is taking place on our planet. Nonrenewable energy resources are dwindling and their costs, both to our wallets and to our environment, are surging. The search for sustainable alternatives to fossil fuels becomes more important every year.

As the alternative energy industry develops, TechTown is emerging as a leader in the field.

NextEnergy’s mission is to enable the commercialization of energy technologies that positively contribute to economic competiveness, energy security and the environment.  NextEnergy’s goal is to foster economic growth in the region through the development and large-scale manufacturing of alternative energy equipment for wind power, solar power, alternative fuels, advanced electronics, energy storage and other emerging technologies.

NextEnergy is already managing millions of dollars of research projects that develop new technologies for power-generation, transportation and fuels.

Carbon Credit Environmental Services

Carbon Credit Environmental Services (CCES) has more than 30 years of environmental experience and is a leader in carbon dioxide and greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) reduction programs.

Every individual and business directly or indirectly contributes to GHG or CO2 emissions. CCES enables every business and individual to eliminate their effect on the planet through education, emission-reduction programs and selling of carbon credits. CCES will issue green certificates, renewable energy certificates, and/or carbon neutral certificates.  Buying “carbon credits” has the same effect as buying green power.  Both actions replace fossil fuel generators with clean renewables, and both have the same environmental benefits.

CCES provides the highest quality carbon offset programs. The company has extensive experience in providing environmental consulting, climate-change risks and management. It voluntarily follows the gold standard, which is an offset standard based on the Kyoto Protocol’s clean development mechanism and developed by several international nonprofit organizations.
