TechTown has established relationships with a number of local law firms that specialize in a variety of important business areas including patent protection, trademarks, entity status, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial contracts.

 

A TechTown team member will be available to assist tenants with legal referrals. In addition, the Kenrda Law Firm, a tenant at TechTown, is available to counsel businesses on legal matters. The Wayne State University Law School also has extended its services to TechTown tenants.

The Small Business Enterprises and Nonprofit Corporations Clinic is WSU Law School’s transactional clinic. The Clinic represents both for-profit and nonprofit clients who cannot afford to pay for legal services offered by attorneys in the private bar.
