The Front Door

Wayne State University’s Front Door is your gateway to research, training, technology and business development.

The Front Door was established at Wayne State University in 2009 to strengthen the University’s ties to business and community partners by providing a link to WSU resources, from recruitment services to world class researchers and state of the art technologies.

The Front Door also plays a key role in local economic development through Tech Town, Wayne State University’s research park and business incubator.   Our offices are located inside Tech Town where our teams work together to develop companies in emerging high-technology industries including advanced engineering, life sciences and alternative energy.

The Front Door is sponsored jointly by Wayne State’s Office of the Vice President for Research and the Office of University Development.
