Indian Business Forum

The Indian Business Forum is a free quarterly program providing enhanced opportunities to the Detroit business community for doing business with one of the world's largest trading partners, India.

TechTown has formed a collaborative relationship with the Detroit chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), the world's largest organization for entrepreneurs, with more than 15,000 members in 12 countries. TiE-Detroit emphasizes value creation through informed entrepreneurship and provides a platform on which entrepreneurs can convene and share ideas.

The Detroit Regional Economic Partnership (DREP) is on a two-week mission to India from January 29 to February 10, 2010 to meet with top Indian companies in six cities including New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Pune. Follow Richard E. Blouse, president and CEO of the Detroit Regional Chamber, and Blaire Miller, interim senior vice president of economic development for the chamber, in their blog as they cross the Indian subcontinent seeking out business partnership opportunities for Southeast Michigan.
